We are going to the final awards ceremony for the Nordic Independent Living Challenge

The five Nordic capitals have joined forces to solve one of the biggest challenges the Nordic welfare model has ever faced - and invite both new and established innovators to participate in the Nordic Independent Living Challenge running from February 2015 to June 2016.

9 June, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway will hand out the main prize of NOK 1 million to the winner of the Nordic Independent Living Challenge at the awards ceremony at Oslo City Hall.

Machine To Machine

Now we are starting our technical trials with Vodafone M2M platform that will enable us to offer the product world wide. We use the GSM cellular network as our backup system when other networks are not accessible. Our Internet Of Things solution where all sensors have their own IP address will be focused on Europe and mainly the Scandinavian countries in the first phase.

More visits

The minister of health in Iceland visited our facility and got a demonstration of the functionality. Also the major of Reykjavik was surprised that the product is ready for testing. We are now finalizing the trial and with our partner Vodafone the communication part is now functional and will cover all of Europe. We have included dual SIM card in the design to be ready for telemedicine.

The judges have selected the 5 solutions to go to stage 5 and be tested in the capitals

Our solution scored high but was not in the 5 to be tested with the cities in the next 6 moths. We will now start our own marketing, We have learned a lot about the real need and can adjust our solution to the market. The plan is to go full force with the solution and start building the product tailored to the Nordic market and then expand to world wide market.
